He says he did not lose to AJ Styles; he was screwed by Matt Morgan. He then announces that at Bound For Glory it will be Kurt Angle versus Matt Morgan one-on-one. Angle then says that with or without the title MEM is still the most dominant force in the history of professional wrestling. The music of the World Elite hit and Eric Young and his crew walk to the ring. Young tells Angle that he questions the fact that MEM is wrestling’s most dominant force. Young tells Angle he saved his life from an attack by Hernandez at No Surrender and that Angle owes him a favor. That favor is to team up with him to face Hernandez and take him out.
Booker T then goes on a triad and says he never liked anyone in the World Elite and they come close to blows until Angle agrees to team up with Young.

The Show opens with a recap of the No Surrender pay-per-view.
After the recap, backstage footage is shown of The World Elite arriving at the Impact zone only for members of the alliance to be attacked by Hernandez with a billy club.
The Main Event Mafia is then shown already in the ring. Kurt Angle proclaims that he did not lose the TNA World Championship.

Suicide vs. “The Black Pope” D’Angelo Dinero
The first match of the night was “The Pope” vs. Suicide in a falls count anywhere match. Everything was used from hockey sticks to trash cans but in the end this violent affair concluded with a victory for Suicide.
Winner: Suicide
We go backstage and Lauren has an interview with Team 3D. Brother Ray pleads for D’Von to focus on regaining the Tag Team titles and not on Rhino but that was not in D’Von’s plans. D’Von tells Rhino that tonight they are going to take it back “old school” and he is going to knock him out. OHHHH MY BROTHER!! TESTIFYYYYYYYY!!
The show goes to commercial break and resumes with an interview with Kevin Nash. Lauren states that she didn’t like the fact that Nash delivered a low blow to “Chris” (Abyss) to retain his title. Nash then entices Lauren with wine and a trip to Ireland and says that Lauren needs to be with a “real man”. Then two “little women” walk in and Nash proclaims that “The Big Sexy World Tour” continues.

Rhino vs. Brother D’Von
Rhino is attacked by D’Von as he is walking to the ring. This is a straight up brawl as both men end up a bloody mess! Both men have to be separated by security until Brother Ray comes to the ring. Brother Ray gives both D’Von and Rhino a tongue lashing and pleads with both guys to bury the hatchet. Brother Ray asked both men to shake hands and they do. Brother Ray turns his back and is then the victim of a gore. Rhino high tails it out of the ring.
Winner: No Contest
The show continues backstage where Lauren is interviewing Hernandez. She asked Hernandez who’s going to be his tag team partner against Eric Young and Kurt Angle. Hernandez says he doesn’t need a partner until Matt Morgan interrupts and offers his services. So later tonight it’s Hernandez teaming with Matt Morgan to face Young and Angle.
The show comes back from commercial with JB and Mick Foley backstage. Foley is upset because of a broken picture of him and JB. Really a waste of three minutes.
A highlight package of the new TNA World Champion, AJ Styles is shown.
AJ then comes to the ring and addresses the crowd. The crowd chants “you deserve it” as AJ dedicates the title to all of the TNA fans. He also dedicates the title to his friend and mentor Sting. He then asks Sting to come to the ring and celebrate with him. Sting thanks AJ for inviting him out but it is his moment and he doesn’t have to share it with anyone. As Sting is walking away, AJ says he knows Sting could have pinned Kurt Angle at No Surrender but instead attack Matt Morgan which allowed him to become TNA Champion. Sting says he gave AJ nothing at No Surrender and that he earned the title. AJ then says he owes Sting and offers him a title shot at Bound For Glory in Sting’s home state of California. Both men shake hands and its official, Sting vs. AJ Styles for the TNA World Championship at Bound For Glory.

Taylor Wilde & Sarita vs. ODB & Tara (TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship Match)
The new champs Taylor Wilde and Sarita come to the ring followed by Tara and TNA Knockouts Champion ODB. Tara and ODB controlled the match until Awesome Kong came to ringside which distracted Tara and a brawl ensued on the outside between Kong and Tara. This was enough of a distraction for Wilde and Sarita to retain their titles.
Winner: Taylor Wilde & Sarita
Backstage, JB and Mick Foley are interrogating Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed about their whereabouts and whether or not they destroyed the picture of Mick and JB. Creed and Lethal get upset and leave. I started to do the same thing after seeing this segment.

Samoa Joe vs. Daniels vs. Homicide (X-Division Championship)
A back and forth match between three great competitors. Each came close to winning the title during the match but in the end Samoa Joe takes advantage of Homicide’s cockiness and retains the title.
Winner: Samoa Joe
Eric Young & Kurt Angle vs. Hernandez & Matt Morgan
Hernandez and Morgan show an awesome display of power during the match. Matt Morgan was presumably going for the “Carbon Footprint” on Kurt Angle but Angle throws Eric Young in the way. Young takes the “Footprint” and a loss courtesy of Morgan.
After the match Sheik Abdul Bashir and Keyoshi confront Angle and he quickly dismisses them. Then the British Invasion come down the ramp in what looks like a potential ambush on Angle but Scott Steiner and Booker T come to Angle’s aid and allows him to get away.
Winner: Matt Morgan & Hernandez

The show goes backstage and JB and Mick Foley are now questioning the Motor City Machine Guns. MCMG’s joke about JB’s bad breath and then Foley retaliates by saying the “Guns” have the worst entrance music in wrestling.
Mike Tenay and Taz then take us to an interview earlier in the day with TNA knockout Hamada. The interview is quickly interrupted by Alyssa Flash who complains that she gets no love and that the knockouts that come from other countries get special treatment. Alyssa then attacks Hamada and gives her quite the beatdown.
After the show comes back from break, Daffney is sitting on the lap of Kevin Nash and seems to be seducing Nash. Nash is then attacked by Dr. Steve who tells Nash to never rob him again!
Bobby Lashley vs. “The Outlaw” Jethro Holiday
This match was a total squash! Lashley wins easily.
Winner: Bobby Lashley
Backstage, Lauren is with Abyss. Abyss says the issue with Mick Foley was a misunderstanding. Abyss says when he and Mick Foley win the Tag Team Championship it will be the greatest moment in the history of his life.
Scott Steiner & Booker T vs. Abyss & Mick Foley (TNA Tag Team Championship)
Scott Steiner and Booker T retain after Mick Foley attacks Abyss.
Winner: Scott Steiner & Booker T
Mick Foley then reveals that it was Abyss who destroyed the picture of him and JB. Mick then brutally attacks Abyss with the evidence, the VHS tape. Then to add insult to injury, with JB pleading with Mick to stop, he mauls Abyss with the barbed wire bat. It was one of the most brutal, bloody beatings I’ve seen in wrestling in a long time. This would close out this week’s edition of TNA Impact.
