The entire Diva's division has been pretty much set on the Creative's back burner. There are no deep storylines anymore. There is no reason for us to care. I know this, you know this, we all know this.

What we also know is that out of the two WWE brands that showcase female wrestling, RAW is in the worse shape.

What can be done about this? Well, a certain beauty could be a huge help.

A knee injury was the only thing that was able to halt the momentum of what was the hottest female wrestler in the WWE. Please note that I used the phrase "was the hottest" only to describe the run that the Diva was on, not her physical appearance. That hotness has never wavered.

Maryse Ouellet is capable of playing the bitch role better than the likes Omarosa. Up until this year's Night of Champions pay-per-view, she was more than Mickie James, along with the other Divas, could handle. But there was fate intervening and sending the beautiful French Canadian to the sidelines. So Maryse dropped the Divas Championship, a belt that seemed to fit her naturally, to James and we haven't seen Maryse since.

Here was a woman who has drastically improved in all areas: in-ring abilities, working the microphone, and owning the ring.

I won't lie, I was not the biggest fan of Maryse's...ring work. She caught my eye from the Divas Search competition, but when she was in the ring earlier on in her career she made it a bit difficult to root for her. But she kept at it and, lo and behold, the woman who many couldn't stand seeing in the ring would go on to become the second ever Divas Champion. A fact that might be lost on many is the fact that she is the holder of the longest reign with that belt: 216 days.

Those seven months gave me something to look forward to when it came to the Divas. And now that she is off television, things haven't been the same.

Maryse has character. The bitch she plays seems effortless. When a wrestler's on-screen persona seems authentic it makes things that much more enjoyable. Now, I don't know Maryse personally (an unfortunate situation) but she is definitely a Grade-A actress if she is a complete 180 from the WWE persona.

Since July there has been a shake up in the Diva's division and this change is why the WWE needs Maryse back immediately.Maryse in Mexico City While the SmackDown brand looks good with Michelle McCool, Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, and Natalya all on the same show, Raw isn't as lucky.

Over on the red brand, Melina is the current Diva's Champion but outside of that split and the screaming, what else does she bring?

Kelly Kelly is still a ways before being anywhere near credible in the ring.

Jillian Hall has a gimmick, albeit one that has ran its course, but it's a gimmick nonetheless. Yet, as talented as I know Hall is capable of being (check her indy stuff), she hasn't come off that way on television, especially recently.

Eve Torres has improved since she began wrestling over on Friday nights, a place I still think she should be, but Eve is a face, much like Melina.

Gail Kim, perhaps the most skilled of all the divas in the WWE, seems to just be there. The WWE has done nothing with her since she's returned. She, too, is a face.

Finally, we have Alicia Fox. I am a fan of Fox, but she might be seen as Maryse-lite, what with the bitchiness she tries to exude. I am happy to see the title shots Fox has gotten of late, because she is a Diva who definitely has come a long way. Unfortunately, I don't think she has come that far that the 'E is ready to give her the title.

Yes, I realize the Bella Twins are on Raw, but come on, they are the Bellas. Right now, they are busy with the guest hosts.

It seems the WWE is just biding their time until Maryse returns so she can feud with Melina. With Maryse involved, I'm sure we can get something out of Melina. If Kim isn't turning heel anytime soon, it is up to Maryse to use all of her skills to make the Raw Diva's division something worthy of watching.

Recent murmurings are saying that it is only a matter of time before we see the former model return to the square circle. This Marysecould be this Sunday at Survivor Series or it might be at the upcoming three-hour Raw. Whenever she does return, know that I am going to be one happy fellow. Know that we, the viewers, will finally get a Diva who we can emotionally invest in.
