Nowadays, everyone wants to be a crossover stars. Rappers want to be actors, basketball players want to be rappers, and so on and so forth. So, it's only natural to see the transition for wrestlers to make their way to the big screen. Heck, we've seen it for years with Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and others.

But it's rare for wrestlers to get a leading role, outside of the man who used to be known as The Rock, in a major film. Well, that's what you thought. Here are a few of the upcoming major motion films that are starring WWE and TNA stars.

(The following movies are all real. The synopsis and cast...slightly altered...slightly.)

Kurt AngleBad Liutenant: Port of Call New Orleans featuring Kurt Angle - 11 September 2009 (Italy)

Kurt Angle stars as a former Olympic gold medalist, hopelessly addicted to drugs, gambling, and sex, in this intense, hallucinatory portrait of sin and redemption by Vince Russo. The road to the PPV follows the lieutenant as he makes his way through various matches, concerned only with taking out his fellow wrestlers from TNA. As his bad decisions drive him deeper into trouble, his life becomes a surreal hell, with a constant intake of punishment erodes what remains of his sanity. An investigation into the fall of the Main Event Mafia leads to his spiritual breakdown at the Impact Zone, where he sees Hulk Hogan and the road to his salvation. This gutsy, highly original tale is one of Russos's most perfectly realized storylines and a pinnacle in the career of Angle, whose performance transcends the screen in its sheer bravery.

Initially heartbroken, Linda finds a form of comfort in reckless living, as well as an even-closer friendship with Gerald Briscoe. Danger in different forms awaits.

Eric Bishoff, Sid Vicious, Hulk Hogan

Seeking Closure featuring Eric Bischoff, Psycho Sid Vicious and Hulk Hogan - 22 November 2009

Dixie Carter's haunting 2010 sci-fi drama Seeking Closure unfolds throughout 2010, a year when some have speculated that TNA will end. The year presents a society with inflated versions of the problems existent at the time of this TNA production, including skyrocketing egos, declining talent and political tyranny. The story opens in the Impact Zone, where TNA management, faced with the weak and collapsing buy rates, struggle to generate revenue, and are repeatedly advised by their superiors that they must produce or face serious consequences. Then Hulk Hogan suffers from a complicated, burdensome past, including a troubled marriage that he has ultimately rejected. Like the others around him, he has been conditioned to accept the pressures and self-indulgences of a materialistic, capitalist society, becoming jaded and indifferent to compassion and selflessness. Then the news arrives of the world's impending collapse, in a matter of hours—and attitudes begin to change en masse. Will Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff and Sid Vicious TNA? Or will they be the last straw that sees it implode?

Kevin Nash, Undertaker and Sting

Jurassic Park featuring Kevin Nash, Undertaker and Sting - Scrapped

Unlike the careers of Kevin Nash, Undertaker and Sting, Jurassic Park IV has come to an end. Despite the star power, producers have decided to scrap the movie citing not wanting to destroy the legacy of the film by going on far past the film's prime. *cough*Hint. Hint.*cough*
