Grudge Match
Jack Swagger vs. MVP
“The All-American American” has ducked and dodged MVP in recent weeks only choosing to fight the “Ballin’ Superstar” when it’s convenient for him. That all ends Sunday when these two go one-on-one.
The WWE has done a great job of burying MVP and that will continue at Summerslam.
Winner: Jack Swagger

It seems I’ve seen this match before. Wait a minute….I have! Too many times but once again we’ll see Cena and Orton go head up for what seems like the millionth time. The match will pit Cena’s power versus Orton’s sneaky, viper-like ways.
This match could go either way and may come down to whether or not Legacy plays a role in the match.
My gut tells me “Super Cena” wins but I’m going to go away from my gut.
Winner: Randy Orton
It’s dubbed the biggest party of the summer and is now being produced as “Wrestlemania in the Summer.”
The WWE presents Summerslam this Sunday from the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California and HTR has your exclusive preview and predictions.
Five titles will be at stake at Summerslam plus three grudge matches. How will Summerslam pan out? HTR has the scoop (We Think).

Grudge Match
The Great Khali vs. Kane
This may be the point in the show where you want to grab a snack or take a bathroom break. For those of you who stay and watch you’ll see two of the biggest stars (in size) in the WWE go head to head.
Kane has taken it upon himself to run-in on Khali’s matches in recent weeks and has taken it as far as kidnapping Khali’s interpreter Ranjin Singh.
Who will win? Who cares but since we have to pick….
Winner: Kane
Intercontinental Championship
Rey Mysterio (champion) vs. Dolph Ziggler (challenger)
Rey Mysterio is probably second only to Jeff Hardy in popularity in the WWE. He has brought some credibility back to the IC Title.
Dolph Ziggler has been on a tear and seems to be a part of the WWE’s future plans. His push was stalled by a loss to Mysterio at Night of Champions but at Summerslam, Ziggler will grab the “brass ring”
Winner: Dolph Ziggler
Grudge Match
Are you ready? We were ready for the 100th DX reunion but Legacy spoiled the return by giving them a beatdown on Raw last Monday. At Summerslam, Triple H and Shawn Michaels will get a chance at redemption.
It’s nice to see Legacy making their own path versus holding Randy Orton’s jockstrap week in and week out. Maybe now we can actually take Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase seriously. Will Summerslam be the coming out party for Legacy? They have a shot but I think DX will prevail.
Winner: DX
Unified Tag Team Championship
Cryme Tyme’s road to a tag team title shot has been a rough one. At one point they were released from their WWE contracts but since they have returned they have improved dramatically and receive a title shot on one of the biggest WWE pay-per-views.
The bad news is that they are going against Jericho and Big Show who are trying to build on their reputation of being the most dominant tag team in wrestling. Cryme Tyme winning would be a huge upset. It’s won’t happen.
Winner: Chris Jericho & Big Show
World Heavyweight Championship (TLC Match)
Jeff Hardy (champion) vs. CM Punk (challenger)
CM Punk has done a number on Jeff Hardy in recent weeks but thanks to the surprise assistance from Matt Hardy, Jeff has managed to hold on the World Championship.
The question is are Matt Hardy’s motives sincere and what role will he play in the TLC match?
Jeff Hardy is a veteran of the TLC match. He was in the very first TLC match and has appeared in countless others. CM Punk has won two “Money In The Bank” ladder matches and likes to use chairs as evidenced on Smackdown in recent weeks.
I think the wild card will be Matt Hardy and whether or not Jeff is taking the rumored hiatus that everyone expects him to take. Either way I see the title changing hands.
Winner: CM Punk

ECW Championship
Christian (champion) vs. William Regal (challenger)
So William Regal is the new number one contender for the ECW Championship. What did he do to actual earn this distinction? Give up? Me too.
In any event, this should be a decent match as Regal is a good worker and Christian has been solid though unnoticed since he returned to the WWE.
Winner: Christian
